Dr. Javier Beut Cabrera, president and founder of Foundation Cirujanos Plastikos Mundi will participate as guest speaker on the 4th March 2010 at the Master on Principles and Practice of Humanitarian Medicine which takes place at the Surgery Department from the prestigious Faculty of Medicine of Stanford University, San Francisco (USA). The master is directed by Dr. Donald R. Laub, associate clinical professor of surgery, founder of Interplast and Global Health Volunteers Inc. (organization of international cooperation of the faculty of medicine at Stanford University).

Dr. Beut will expose to the participants of the master his experiences in the medical sector of international cooperation, the real needs that arise, especially following the management of large natural tragedies that have been recently experienced, being its main objective the need for reciprocity of actions, ie what is important here in the "developed world" should apply, by force also in developing countries so that the ultimate goal not only quantifies the numbers of actions taken but-rather-the quality of them and the effect in the medium-long term run.

It is an exceptional fact that a Spanish doctor is invited to speak at the faculty of medicine from the Stanford University, a fact which in itself highlights the merits and respect achieved by Dr. Beut in terms of the medicine at an international level.
